Pete became Alice's full time horse for cattle work when his older full brother "Red Man" left us the fall of '22. Pete is the 3rd full sibling we have out of our great ranch mare “Wanda”, & just like his siblings & parents he is a people horse. Pete was sweet & easy to start under saddle as a 2 year old, definitely a gelding that will spoil you because he makes training so fun. Pete is always a “volunteer” when you go out to catch horses to ride, & even with time off he always saddles up & rides off gentle. This spring 7yr old Alice was his first rider after months off over winter, he is that solid. He will watch a cow & travels in all gaits with a smooth easy stride that makes me love to ride this family of horses. Pete is very friendly & loves attention.

Pete is so responsive to cues that I can ride him with just my legs. When ever I ride him I am so glad his mother is the foundation of our mare band.
