2019 AQHA Blue Roan Gelding
Tiger is a maternal half brother to "Copper", & just like his brother he is a people horse. Tiger was easy to start under saddle as a 2 year old & was riding well out side, loping circles & taking his leads by spring of '22. Curt used him pairing out & AI work last spring and fall work. Tiger volunteers to be caught , & even with time off he always saddles up & rides off gentle. Smooth easy gates makes him a pleasure to ride. Tiger is gentle enough that Alice was riding been him too & from pasture when he was only a 3 yr old.

Yes! Totally. We feel it would be totally safe for a beginner to come along on a trail ride with us on Tiger. To maintain his level of training it would be best to have experienced supervision while the beginner was riding & to have tune ups in between. Alice rides him all over the place & to neighbors working cattle. He does get lazy with her but she has learned to remind him with a crop.
Tiger has been easy from day one. VERY easy going and steady. Like Smokie, he is more dependable than many horses three times his age. He does not need ridden all the time, & is just fine with time off. Just when you do ride be consistent and he will be the same horse day after day.
In addition to running cattle on our land, we raise horses. We have young horses coming up that need time & training so we are offering Tiger for sale to go on & be a dependable mount for some special person or family. Many long days go into making a horse as solid as Tiger. We are very happy with Tiger.
